Let’s talk about oil primer. Our blog post today is to review Smashbox Photo Finish Primer Oil Review. I’ve been using it for a while now, and I am loving it a lot. My foundation is looking its best on photos and videos. I get so many compliments on how good my foundation is looking. No joke! This post is not sponsored and, I love to write here about my true experiences.
I got a sample in one of my #sephoraplay boxes. At first, I was skeptical about it. But I decided to give it a try. First, I started using it under my eye area, because it is very dry. Then I tried on the rest of my face. It really helped with my dry under eyes and, it didn’t affect my concealer.
Trying it on my face, I was more concerned about my T-zone (I have combo skin) but, it kinda mattified my skin. I still use another primer to blur my pores, but I use it as a spot treatment. My whole makeup goes on very smooth, and I am loving the finish of it.
Every skin is different, it can be dry, oily, normal or combo. Most of the time, an oily skin type is missing hydration. So, this is why YOU SHOULD contact your doctor to investigate your skin concerns better.
I loved it so much that I bought a full-size during @sephora sales event.
PS: Even though you are using an oil primer, you should use a moisturizer too.
