The Ordinary Retinal 0.2% Emulsion
The Ordinary just launched the Retinal 0.2% Emulsion. If you are not familiar, retinAl is a high strength of retinoids. It targets signs of aging, crow’s feet, texture, and uneven skin tone. This product is suitable for all skin types, but since it is a stronger form of retinoids, use caution. Start once a week until your skin builds tolerance.
As someone with rosacea, I usually use retinol twice a week. I started using this product once a week and gradually advanced twice a week. During the first two weeks, my skin became more sensitive, but after this period, my skin was tolerating well.
The Ordinary Retinal 0.2% Emulsion has a yellow tone. Don’t worry! It goes away after you wash it off in the morning. The only thing I suggest is to wash your hands right after you apply it. So you don’t stain other objects or clothes.
I am having a great experience with it. I noticed a more even skin tone, which is awesome.
